Terracotta Warriors: Past and Present

The past and present are separated by time, but have the same advantage of certainty. The future has no parallel – it is unknown.  Still, the future is forged in the present, guided by our past in ways that we may not fully understand. The future becomes our present as we move along time. Perhaps that is why it is so difficult to live in the present.

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.
