Terracotta Warriors: Base Stone of China

The Great Wall of China is made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood and other materials. Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor of China, is credited for building the first wall between 220 – 206 B.C.  It was to be the first of many walls, which were later joined together to form the strong fortification known today as the Great Wall.  There is very little that remains of Qin Shi Huang’s original wall, but he will always be known as the creative and decisive mind behind this remarkable achievement.
