How many times, in relation to how many posts have we talked about the need to keep our eyes open to the beauty around us? Once again, we have a profound expression of someone else doing the same – fabulous.
I admit that I am a quote hoarder! I have collected a lot over the years – in books, and files etc. But now I have found Goodreads to be is an excellent place to find quotes.
I inherited from my father a love of reference books – he had so many different ones which I loved to delve through, including books of quotations etc. Having the internet has replaced the need for such works really, but I can’t help feeling a pang of nostalgia!
My father and I would love going through the bookstores together. I inherited my love for books from him. It was the best legacy that he could have given me. I agree, I miss going to those used books stores that had hidden treasures in the back shelves…
